Thanks Keith! I was able to get some photos of the BBWDs and posted them up if anyone is interested. They were hunkered down at departure on the island. Being that this is a small pond, good looks can be obtained no matter where they are on the pond.

There are five Black-bellied Whistling-ducks on the island in the pond. I
clicked a couple of pics through my binoculars with my iPhone until I saw
Middleton Evans -- I pounced. After Middleton returned with his camera Dave
and Seamus Curson came. The ducks are trying to take a nap; but need to keep
a watchful eye on the passing dogs.
