I use a catch and release strategy. No reason to kill them. They can be
feed for the birds outside if they get caught.

That sounds similar to my method. I realized that the stinkbug drops an
inch or so as it begins to take flight so I just use a wide mouthed
juice jug under them, they drop themselves in and the whole jug goes in
the freezer for a while.
