I did a hike at Schooley Mill last evening and was pleased to find a HOODED WARBLER singing in the woods next to the open cattail pond. Sad to say my first of the year! However, there were nesting birds in good numbers. Both ORIOLE SPECIES, SCARLET TANAGER, ACADIAN FLYCATCHER and CEDAR WAXWINGS all confirmed.
