Hi all,

I just observed an adult Black-crowned Night Heron in the channel next to
Pier Six Pavilion in downtown Baltimore.  The bird was perched on the orange
debris containment boom stretched across the channel.  It appeared to be
just staring at the wall, which seemed odd, but I guess it was seeing
something I could not.  Easily viewable from the pedestrian bridge between
Pier Six and Harbor East.  Definitely a nice unexpected lunchtime find!
