After checking out the Black-necked Stilts at Swan Creek, I spent the rest of the morning in Talbot County. My first stop was the stream crossing on Old Skipton Road, where the previously reported Warbling Vireo continued singing away. My next birds of note were an American Oystercatcher and a Willet, viewed from the observation deck at Tilghman Back Creek Park (on right just before the drawbridge to Tilghman Island). This area also had 3 Least Terns and 4 Snowy Egrets. I saw Surf Scoters in two locations -- an immature at Black Walnut Point and an adult at Newcomb.
