I observed my first hummer all out altercation at the feeder yesterday.  Over a period of close to 10 min. a male and a female (?) engaged in aerial combat over my 3 port Humzinger.  The male was able to occasionally grab a quick nip at the feeder, but the female never got lucky while i was watching.

Up to this point although i have changed the 8 oz feed twice weekly, there has never been a period when even 1/2 of the contents had been consumed.  As Les says, we are fast approaching the time when i will find my feeder emptied in a single day WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO :)
