Note received from Paul Kreiss today:

"I checked the nests on Dead Run, near Leakin Park at the border of Baltimore County and Baltimore City today, wading up the stream so that I was able to see all of the nests.  There were 10 nests, with 17 young: 
most were nearly adult sized and several were out on limbs.  7 of the 10 nests had young.  8 adults were seen on or near the nests and there were 1 or 2 more adults in Dead Run.    Details on the individual nests follow:

Tree by Fred's Garage: 1 nest, 1 adult, no young.  Tree further upstream: 7 nests: 1 nest with 1 adult on the nest and 1 adult on a nearby limb; 1 nest with 1 adult and 2 juveniles; 1 nest with 1 adult with 3 fuzzy young; 1 nest with 2 juveniles; 1 nest with 1 adult; 1 nest with 1 adult and 2 juveniles; 1 nest with 2 juveniles.  Tree opposite Millstream Inn: 2 nests, each with 3 juveniles.

All the birds were very interested in me.
