There are one, possibly two, DICKCISSEL at the Renditions Golf Course in Davidsonville.

There is a large field of mixed grasses, thistle and the like in the back of the gold course. THIS IS A PRIVATE AREA, but I spoke with the head of the grounds crew and he welcomes birders to come have a look. He was happy to hear that his thistle was hosting such a lovely bird.

The bird can be observed by entering via the service maintenance road (off of Davidsonville Road) during business hours (or when the security fence is open).

Please stay on the dirt road, be mindful of the staff and golfers, park up by the maintenance building and as always, be on best behavior.

The bird was singing in the thistle field just Southwest of the maintenance building. Simply walk 1/4 South, if that, on the dirt road that borders the golf course.

Good Birding,

Dan
