Yesterday Hubby and I took the hike to Chimney and Wolf Rocks in Catoctin Nat'l Park. I saw and heard many Wood Thrushes, Pileated Woodpeckers, Pewee, Great Crested Flycatchers, Red Eyed Vireos and I was sure I heard the Scarlet Tanagers. There was also some warbler at Wolf Rock I was hearing but could not find. At Wolf Rock I also saw these two lizards anyone know what they are? Numbers 6 & 7 on page one.

On the way home I took Rt 76 off of 15 and eventually found the roads everyone has been talking about.... Keysville, and Sixes Bridge. Along these two roads I was hoping to find the Dickcissel but the highlights for me were seeing two Eastern Meadowlarks a great sighting for me since it was 20 years since I've seen one and nice sightings of a couple of Redheaded Woodies. So my quest for the Dickcissel goes on.
