Aaron & Gail,
I would suggest Patuxent Research Refuge North Tract for nearby Summer
Tanagers. Enter off Rt 198 onto Bald Eagle Dr. Drive about a mile and sign
in. Follow the main road until you get to the large power line. Summer
Tanagers are usually found here. I was able to photograph one here this
year. Another location is Fran Uhler Natural Area off Rt 197 in Bowie, at
the end of Lemons Bridge Rd, and near the MARC Train Station. I saw a Summer
Tanager here near the gate into Fran Uhler.
