This morning (10 July, 2011) at 7:12 am I watched three full-breeding-plumaged
Avocets flying south down Jug Bay.  They circled often, trying to land on the AA
side, then on the PG side, but apparently didn't find it to their liking.  They
were around for 4 minutes, putting on quite show.

I couldn't stand not knowing if the Dickcissels were gone at Melwood Rd after my
failure to find any yesterday.  There was one singing this morning, but much
farther away.  Also, Meadowlark and Bobwhite were singing again.  No Bobolink
though.
