I visited the Brown Station Road Recycling Pond again before work. I was unable to relocate the Short-billed Dowitcher found yesterday, but did have a nice mix of birds that included:

27 Least Sandpipers
4 Semipalmated Sandpipers
1 Western Sandpiper
6 Pectoral Sandpipers
3 Solitary Sandpipers
1 Killdeer
2 Spotted Sandpipers

There was a notable absence of waders this morning, with only one Great Blue Heron present. Conditions are really ideal for shorebirds at the recycling center pond as we move towards August, with low water levels and lots of exposed mudflats around the entire perimeter of the pond.
