99% of the people on this listserv realize that the word "stint" was invented by a tiny subset of birders just to make normal birders feel inferior.

Paul (Mr.-in-a-snit) Pisano just reminded me that he, too was with John, Michael, Tom Davis and me at Jamaica Bay on the long-billed SESA, Red-necked-to-Little Stint birding trip in 1983.  It was a Freudian slip; little kids are so easy to overlook.
