Since it was in the low 60's this AM I decided an early morning walk might
work. By 8:30 I was back in the truck, unmelted.
Highlight was a SCARLET AND GREEN TANAGER. This is only about the 5th one
I've seen like this but tomorrow is August and that's when they usually look
like this- half red and half green. Kinda funny-looking.
Also had an agitated WOOD THRUSH. Several BROWN THRASHERS and a persistently
singing YELLOW-THROATED VIREO.
No Wood Duck on the pond. Kinda quiet most of the time.
