RE the recent July 24-27 period Lower Eastern Shore posting.  One of the problems with posting field notes in a hurry and so soon after the fact, garnished with artsy-craftsy poetic quotes, too, is that there are going to be some mistakes.  So … Jimsonweed, not Jimson Weed.  Add: 2 Semipalmated Plovers to the Holland Island list.  But more important, I neglected to state that Dave Brinker is the one in charge of the pelican banding, a project of his for over 10 years, well over 20,000 banded.
