While counting Waders at Deal Island, Somerset Couny early this amI watched
a Peregrine Falcon swoop down and grab a Snowy Egret. The falcon dropped the
Egret several times before completing the kill. The count was 42 Great
Egrets, 17 Snowys, 8 Glossy Ibis, 8 Tri colored Herons and 2 Little Blues
minus the unlucky Snowy.
