Folks,
I see the *swallows* in Chesapeake Beach wetlands have staged and most of
them have left the area as of last week.
Question: Do the redwing blackbirds gather and migrate about the same time
as the swallows?

There is an eerie silence in their absence, without both of them being
present in large numbers in the local wetlands behing the community center.
After the rains, I haven't seen but a family of two of stragglers.

Is this what I am seeing? Or is it some local weather fluke?

thanks
