Hi all,

Since it is so close we decided to run up to Triadelphia Lake Rd. this
afternoon to see what might be about. Parking in the lot and then taking
the nature trail (up the steps from the parking lot) to where the lake
bends
to the left, and then walking down to the water's edge. Conditions are
good, there is more mud exposed than last week.

LOTS of shorebirds, although nothing of extraordinary note. Most were in
Montgomery Co. although there were a lot of unidentified peeps (probably
mostly Semipalmateds) up Cattail Creek (in Howard Co.)

Green Heron - 2 (both in HoCo)
Killdeer - 6
Semipalmated Plover - 2
Solitary Sandpiper - 2
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Pectoral Sandpiper - 3
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 60+
Least Sandpiper - 8-10
Western Sandpiper - 1

There was very little land bird activity, probably due to the time of day
as
much as anything.
