Last evening I had a Ibis Sp. fly over the Patapsco River, from Howard County to Baltimore County, that appeared to be heading towards Lost Lake. I couldn't make out any color because of the sun-- the bird was just a black silhouette. I hiked quickly to survey Lost Lake and the surrounding stream/river but couldn't relocate the bird. I chalked it up as one that got away. I was looking at eBird data this morning and any Ibis Sp. is good in Howard, so I figured it was worth posting as an FYI.
