the new boardwalk is Y-shaped and 1.5 miles long. and goes west up Fishing
Creek
birded 5:30-7 pm along left side of Y that goes to the RR pilings

low-tide, plenty of minnows sightings mostly at the end of the boardwalk
(upstream)
saw 18 snowy egrets, 2 gb heron, saw several groups of  50-60 redwing
blackbirds
still some swallows remaining like beige bank swallows, tree swallows and a
few barn swallows

saw my first eel  at the RR pilings
