Re: Cecil upland sandpipers--Yes EIGHT on 8/16 plus 127 Cattle Egrets

There were EIGHT UPLAND SANDPIPERs at the previously described location 
this Tuesday morning.  They were in the grass around the obvious flood 
pond.  (Thanks for posting about these Mike!).  This is an all time 
eBird high count for Cecil County.  No sign of the dowitchers, but there 
were also a few of both YELLOWLEGS, a HORNED LARK singing and a MEADOWLARK.

On the way down, just past Courthouse Pt. Rd. going south on 213, there 
were 127 CATTLE EGRETs in a field with horses on the left.  This is an 
eBird state high count for the year. Also a couple of FORSTER'S TERNs on 
the Bohemia River.
