Many thanks to Ron Gutberlet for this great find; though I don't get out much in Carroll this bird was only three minutes from my house as saw it late yesterday.  Felt like I was in Worcester.  Also 1 Least Sandpiper, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs and 1 Solitary Sandpiper. 



Didn't think TRHE would ever make my rare birds photo site, but here it is!!

   The Tricolored Heron was still present in the same location off White 
Rock Road this morning (Aug. 20). The trail is very dewy in the early 
morning and getting overgrown again. I could find only two previous records 
for the county: single birds at Liberty Lake on Aug. 22-25, 1985 and Aug. 
9-17, 1986.
