Hello,

Post-storm birding.  Terns over Potomac, all in DC waters.

Washington Marina on Daingerfield Island, Alexandria

9:16 - 10:54am
Forster's Terns were always present and at least two Caspian Terns visited.  A burst of activity around 9:45am saw:
1 Least Tern
1 Common Tern
1 Black Tern

Gravelly Point, Arlington Co.

10:58 - 11:49am
nothing of note.  Terns present were Forster's and Caspian.

Also I visited Beaverdam Reservoir in eastern Loudoun Co. from 7:08 - 7:38am but I saw nothing of note.  A flock of 14 Wild Turkeys fed in a field along Evergreen Mills Rd. approx. 1/2 mile north of intersection w/ Belmont Ridge Rd.  A sign reads that the area is the future home of a park.
