Jane and I were unable to leave our neighborhood because a) we had trees down all over the place including on our house and b) the street that leaves our development was blocked by several huge pines and oaks and weren't cleared for quite a while. Anyway, after chain sawing for 4 hours and still making little progress, we were ready for something different. We headed across the reopened Solomons bridge and scouted along the length of Solomons then to the CBL pier with nothing more exotic than Ring-billed, Herring and Great Black-backed Gulls. We crossed back into St. Mary's and scoped the sand spit at Pt. Patience and the above gulls were there and there were a few Royal Terns loafing and a group of Forster's Terns flying around near Myrtle Point Park. Snooze.
