While doing an end-of-day sea watch from 30th St in Ocean City, I observed a subadult Bridled Tern fly by, headed south, fairly close to shore. It allowed a good look at overall large size and languid flight, dark flight feathers (contrasting with paler brownish-cast mantle) and washed out head pattern compared to adult. The first I have seen from land in MD. Also 1 Wilson's Storm-Petrel and 1 Black Tern here.
