Gail just called me again to torture me while I'm stuck at my desk. Er,
I mean to let me know that they found a 2nd OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER.
This one is at Brookside Gardens, west side of the main parking lot, not
far from the visitor center. Look at the tops of the bare snags. She
said that this bird is clearly an adult, and the Wheaton Reg. Park bird
was clearly a hatch year bird. Definitely 2 different birds.

On an unrelated note - nighthawks used to nest on flat roofs in the
District (Capitol Hill, Dupont/R St.), but as far as I know they're no
longer there. I hope I'm wrong on that - anyone know otherwise?

Good birding,
Paul Pisano
