I took a lunchtime walk at Swan Creek and found a young Mourning Warbler on the trail down to the wetland. It was not far beyond the signs once you enter the woodland and I marked an X in the road with a tripod leg. Other migrants in the woodland included a Traill's Flycatcher, a Blackburnian Warbler, and a Baltimore Oriole.

I couldn't see much in the impoundment, the peeps were far in the back, but there were 3 Semi Plovers, a few Lesser Yellowlegs, and a juvenile Short-billed Dowitcher. I finally saw the summering Hooded Merganser again after not seeing it since early June.

I would have posted a little sooner, but, you know, earthquake and all.
