Carolyn: along with places already mentioned, you might want to try Sandy Point State Park, which can host interesting shorebirds, terns and passerine migrants (can be crowded with people on summer weekends) and Swan Creek/Cox Creek dredge facility, north of Fort Smallwood, which has had some amazing birds over the last few months. The latter is a working industrial/reclamation siite. Birders must sign in and abide by access rules.
Good luck!

Can anyone give me a couple of really good places to bird in the Annapolis
area? Just moved back to town.
Thanks, Carolyn Smith
