Morning all,
I did a short walk around the yard this morning, finding it fairly quiet. I did find a small bit of activity along the back where a long line of wild cherry trees separates our property from the neighbors farm. There I saw a first fall/imm American Redstart, along with a pair of chickadees. Then another bird popped into view, and it turned out to be our first Yellow-Throated Vireo (yard bird #138), which gave a growling chatter call, hopped around a bit then moved slowly off with its group.
Also saw a hatch year Red-bellied Woodpecker, and an immature Baltimore Oriole, along with a very distant flycatcher, which I suspect was an Easten Wood Pewee.
