Large (500+), mixed flock of swallows seen today in NW Dorchester, 'Neck' District. 75% of the birds were young Barn Swallows, but the mix included Purple Martin, Bank, Rough-winged, Tree and at least one Cliff Swallow. Also in the area, were large flocks of Bobolinks (working the sorghum fields), and a few Bobwhite (always nice to hear).
