A short walk on Friday morning, Sept.2nd, produced the following warblers at Cromwell Valley Park:

Redstart-2
Chestnut-sided-1
Magnolia-2
Black and White-4 at least
Blue-winged-1

All were seen at the paved bridge behind the HawkWatch site, low on both sides of the stream.

Speaking of the HawkWatch, a few of us plan on being there on Saturday morning,Sept. 3rd, to begin the season. After last year's impressive numbers( over 19,300- WOW! )we look forward to another promising season. Things won't kick into high gear until the 2nd or 3rd week of September when the Broad-winged Hawks push through. I will try to post regularly on MDOSPREY to keep interested parties abreast of raptor migration at Cromwell.
