While cutting the grass late yesterday afternoon (maybe around 6PM) I had 4 Common Nighthawks fly over the yard, first a group of 3 followed by another straggler, all heading due south.

I had a single COMMON NIGHTHAWK over the house....and a SCARLET TANAGER.

I also have “lost” my adult male hummingbirds. I did take a number of pictures
f this very young hummer....almost the throat spots were green and he seemed
xceptionally tiny! He was having it out with a few other females and young
ales.

I birded Centennial this morning but didn’t find anything extraordinary. A
ovely morning though!
