The Howard County Bird Club had a field trip with 17 people today to MPEA.
We started at the South Wind Circle entrance, walked through the meadow,
down to the river, up the Orange Connector Trail to Stop #1 on the Red
Trail, followed the Red Trail in high to low order from Stops 17 - 11, and
back to the Blue Trail. The highlights were Olive-sided Flycatcher in the
meadow, a flyover Laughing Gull, and a brief look at the continuing
Philadelphia Vireo at Stop #17.

 Later in the day I had 3 Laughing Gulls fly over my house going in the
direction of Lake Kittamaquandi.

 This evening at MPEA while standing at Red Stop #1, I had 12 Common
Nighthawks. This is a low number compared to the 92 nighthawks that Jeff
Culler had fly over his house last night.
