As Phil said earlier, I saw the immature White Ibis at Kenilworth Park.  It was at the location indicated by Frank earlier today, with the 6 Canada Geese.  I arrived around 1 pm and had it under observation for over half an hour.  At 1:27, it flew to the other side of the road and the other side of the second parking lot, so it near where the road bends and on the other side of that road from the river.  At 1:37 it took off, heading downriver.  Jason Berry and his friend (Mark?) arrived 15 minutes later, but the bird never showed up.  We quickly headed to the ball fields that are closer to the entrance, where we relocated the 3 Pectoral Sandpipers I had almost run over while heading to the Ibis.  Mark located a Stilt Sandpiper with 2 Lesser Yellowlegs in a different part of this area.

fields at Kenilworth. Last field on the right, near the jersey wall. It is in
with a group of Canada geese.

We quickly headed to the ball fields that are closer to the entrance, where we relocated the 3 Pectoral Sandpipers I had almost run over while heading to the Ibis.  Mark located a Stilt Sandpiper with 2 Lesser
Yellowlegs in a different part of this area.  We then made an attempt to locate the bird further downriver, but didn’t have much time as we all had commitments to attend to.  On my way back home I stopped at Kenilworth Park and saw the ibis again.  Unfortunately Jason and Mark were almost back at their offices and unable to see it.
