The White Ibis in Kenilworth Park, northeast DC, was where Paul Pisano saw it yesterday afternoon ("in the upper part of the first set of soccer fields").  

At about 8 am or so, it and its 25+ Canada Geese friends took off in the direction of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.   We headed to the gardens but didn't look for it there.  Other birds of interest at Kenilworth Park were three peeps seen in flight twice, and a couple of flyover Boblinks.
