Afternoon all,
While out sitting on my shop bench this afternoon (with bins in hand) I saw my first two adult Broad-winged Hawks pass by pretty high overhead, moving very slowly south, and about fifteen minutes later, a very active American Kestrel flying all about high over the yard. A few mixed flocks of vultures and several Chimney Swifts passed by as well. This morning the only migrant was a Scarlet Tanager in a maple tree out front.
