northern Calvert Ches Beach boardwalk Fishing Creek

Tuesday Sept 13th - 10 am the Snowy egrets count has been dwindling at
Fishing Creek at the waterpark, from 110 before the hurricane, to 60
afterwards, to 35 a week ago, to 5 yesterday
the 110 were behind Abners crab house. the 35 usually are found along the
meandering creek , SW part of the Y

at the southwest end of the boardwalk 1.5 miles........
2 kingfisher
5 great blue heron ( one in shades of beige ; one that was all very light
grey, one drying its wings like an Anhinga)
2 green herons ( one was immature about the size of  robin, having spotted
wings and a rufous chest)
1 db cormorant
10 common terns

along the way.............
5 osprey
25 laughing gulls
30 rb gulls
3 black back gulls
1 unidentifiable hawk that was mostly black,but not a vulture, not an
Osprey, not a RW nor a RT circling high
0 eagles
