Hi All,

Anticipating good birding this morning, Wayne Baumgartner and I birded Ft. Dupont Park, Washington, DC (in Anacostia) .  I'm happy to say we were not dissappointed!  There were lots of Warblers including:

Chestnut-sided (many)
Nashville
Blackburnian (many)
Black-& White (many)
Black-throated Blue (many)
Black-throated Green (many)
Blackpoll
Ovenbird
Norther Parula
American Redstart (many)
Magnolia
Common Yellow-throat
GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER - 1st fall female (the surpise!)

Strangely, we had no interesting thrushes, raptors, cuckoos, and very few flycatchers.

Overall a very nice morning!

Jason Berry
