Hi Everyone,

Jeff Shenot and I are two of the folks who lost our chance to get offshore this summer when a planned pelagic trip was weathered out.  As a partial "make-up" for the lost trip, we are going to bird from one of Ocean City's headboats this Thursday, 22 Sep.

The boat is the Ocean Princess, docked at 307 Dorchester St in downtown Ocean City.  It is a half-day trip (8:00am-1:30pm) and the cost is $42 per person.  Jeff has spoken with the folks running the trip and was told that the tentative plan is to fish at a wreck (probably 5-12 miles offshore).  There is still space available, so if anyone would like to join us, please do.  It is possible to make reservations.  Participants are requested to be at the boat by 7:30 am. Please note that this is a fishing trip and that we're just along for the ride--there won't be any special stops for birds.

Afterwards we will probably bird Assateague (including the ORV/OSV Zone).
