Like Rick, I've seen a Red-shouldered Hawk join a group of crows mobbing 
another bird, which in that particular case turned out to be a 
Red-tailed Hawk. The Red-shoulders in my yard nest nearby and are 
generally ignored by the crows, but any Red-tail that drops in is 
immediately harassed.
