Morning all,
I stepped outside my shop about 11 AM for some air, with my binoculars in hand. Good contrasty clouds made for good viewing, and shortly I had singles of Broad-winged, Sharp-shinned and Red-shouldered Hawks fly over, as well as an adult Red-headed Woodpecker (low and flying west), as well as a Gray Catbird in the yard and a high, fly-by Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

Another woodpecker flew by in advance of the RHWO, but I was unable to get on it before it disappeared behind trees. It flew at the same height and direction as the RHWO, so I suspect that's what it was too.

The last RHWO I saw in the yard was September 26, 2010!
