On Sunday Sept. 25th Mark Scarff reported another good flight of Broad-winged hawks from his front yard watch-site in Manchester, Carroll Co.  Mark is a hawk counter who usually joins us at the Cromwell Valley watch, but the recent unfavorable weather prompted him to stay close to home.  He made the right decision.  This weather has produced good flights west of us here at Cromwell.
