Though relatively chilly and cloudy, this morning was good for bird
watching. At the connector trail between Parilla Path and Westside
Trails (SW side of the lake), there were a mixed group of ~10 thrush
(Wood, Swainson, Veery, and Gray-Cheeked) in the berried shrubs and
forest floor along with 2 Ovenbirds. Two Blue-Headed Vireos and a
number of warblers (B&W, Parula, Magnolia, Blk Gr, Blk Blue,
Nashville) were seen in the trees at the barred access road across
from Beach Dr at Needwood Rd. The full list is below.

spots were faint. Their backs were evenly toned brownish-olive from
