This evening - probably Tree based on observation of all white underparts and the fact that the "Field List of the Birds of Maryland" shows these to be the most abundant swallows lingering at this time of year.  The viewing was in - what else - abysmal conditions close to 5pm.  The birds were feeding just above and into the surface of the holding pond.  Whatever they were, they were there in ABUNDANCE!  Other than a lone mallard (male) and a far off Kingfisher there was nothing else of note.
