More and more mud is appearing daily at Oxbow Lake indicating the beavers still have work to do to repair the dam damaged by Hurricane Irene. There's still plenty of water and food to eat for waterfowl, so we find Oxbow Lake in a win-win situation. The complete list is below, but notice the increased numbers in waterfowl and shorebirds.
We also had a 6 woodpecker day.
