Crows chow down on pokeberries, AMGOs, Catbirds

This took place on my acre in one of my "wild" areas where pokeberries are allowed to grow for the benefit of the (i assumed) smaller birds incl Mockers and Robins.  This morning i was surprised to see 1/2 dozen Am Crows take advantage, if briefly.  Not much else going on - need to get the sunflower feeders up.  Thistle sacks have been up since mid-August and have been well received by Am Goldfinches (AMGOs) who will now be able to vary their diet.  At work, i've been trying to monitor the Fall disappearance of Catbirds.  I don't recall hearing them last week in their favored location along the creek in front of bldg 21...
