Morning all,
Lots of bird activity between 8 & 9 this morning. I had a group of 4, perhaps 5, Blue-headed Vireos fly through the yard, perching in various trees and moving about as they went across the yard; most I have ever seen in one group anywhere. Also had great looks (at least 3 times) at my second record Lincoln's Sparrow feeding in the scrubby brush behind our blackberry plants. Had a single Eastern Phoebe, 4-5 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 2-3 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Swamp Sparrow, White-throated , Song and Chipping Sparrows, 2-3 Eastern Towhees, large flocks of American Robins flying over, lots of local bluebirds, Red-shouldered Hawks, chickadees and titmouses (mice?), as well as several very early Northern Flickers, along with the regularly occuring yard species (Carolina Wren, Cardinals, etc.).

But just as everything heated up, things dropped off and got very quiet, allowing me time to come in for breakfast.
