Morning all,

Just time for a quick walk this morning, but had a few nice birds and a nice surprise too. Had some of the regulars for late October, RC Kinglets, Yellow-rumped Warblers, E. Phoebes (2), lots of chippies, Carolina Wren, a single late Gray Catbird, and a pair of Hermit Thrushes, feeding in the leaf litter in a large brushy area just outside our back gate (yard bird #142, but only #141 for me). This was the nice surprise! Also several E. Towhees calling with one coming in very close, perhaps 8 feet from where I stood by the gate.
