The juvenile Little Blue Heron continues at Schoolhouse Pond, foraging in the vegetation at the rear of the pond.  Also of note was a group of 27 Northern Shovelers and one Pied-billed Grebe.  And, I had my first somewhat large group of gulls on the pond at lunch today:  220 Laughing Gulls, 1 Ring-billed Gulls, and 1 juv. Herring Gull.  Hopefully, with November approaching there will be larger groups to search through in the coming weeks.
