Hi All,
Birded at the Arundel Village pond again yesterday . New birds not seen on Saturday are E Phoebe , Hermit Thrush (first for park ) and Song Sparrow . Lots more Kinglets . All hanging around the Treed end of the pond .
Stopped by Elvaton Park in Millersville AA county this evening to drop off recycles . Found a decent flock of Sparrowy activity . Only birds i could get looks at were White Crowned Sparrow , White Throats , and Many Junco. All activity transpired at the right side of the parking area between the woods and the first ballfield . There are two very large pine trees here and they kept disappearing in them . They would come out and go down in the ditch closer to the road but would only disappear in the grass. I moved to different spot so i could see into the ditch from car . Birds were coming out of the pines and into the ditch but still disappear . Finally a passerby spooked birds. I estimated 20 Juncos and you can forget i.d.ing flying sparrows . Hoping someone might have a try at them tommorrow earlier in the day with more light .
